BENTON TOWNSHIP – The Lake Michigan College Soccer Club is hosting open tryouts on Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 9 a.m. at the Napier Avenue Campus soccer field. Tryouts are open to all enrolled LMC students.

Players should bring a water bottle and appropriate attire and equipment, including shin guards and cleats. Interested candidates should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time for registration.

The LMC Soccer Club is an intramural team which competes year-round in indoor and outdoor seasons against other college soccer club teams. LMC’s schedule includes games against teams from nearby community colleges and travel to other colleges throughout Michigan, Illinois, Ohio and Wisconsin.

The team also participates in the Blizzard Blast tournament in Florida each year during the winter semester break.
