Wolverines fall to Jaier

Athletic Jaier defeated the Niles Wolverines Thursdays night in the Blossomland Cup semifinals. Athletic Jaier defeated the Wolverines 4-3 in penalty kicks to advance to Sunday's finals at the Kicker's Club in Arden.
Penalty kicks were needed to decide half the Blossomland Cup finals on Sunday afternoon at the Kickers Club in Arden.
The Niles Wolverines and Athletic Jaier were deadlocked at 1-1 after regulation.
Jaier defeated the Wolverines 4-3 on penalty kicks.
Athletic Jaier advances to the 3 p.m. finals against the Tornados, who upset Blossomland Soccer League regular season champion St. Joe Kickers 1-0.
Athletic Jaier got its lone goal in regulation from David Wood, while Kelly Ball scored for the Wolverines.
Errol Rousseve scored for the Tornados in the other semifinal.
