The fifth annual Lee Memorial Foundation Golf Outing, held July 10, raised more than $12,000 to help Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital fund the purchase of important medical equipment, including an epidural pump, bladder scanner and digital baby scale.

“We sincerely appreciate all of this year’s golf participants, as well as the numerous businesses and individuals who sponsored the event, contributed prizes and made donations,” said Wayne D. Comstock, chair, Lee Memorial Foundation. “A total of 34 teams competed and we had 44 sponsors, both new records for the golf outing.”

In addition to sponsorship support, the Lee Memorial Foundation Golf Outing was a big success due to the time and talents of volunteers, committee members, and the staff of Spruce Ridge Golf Club. “We are grateful for Spruce Ridge’s expertise, the participation of Heartland Chrysler Jeep Dodge and the generosity of sponsors, including our lead sponsor St Denys Foundation,” Comstock added. “Thanks to their dedication and contributions, everyone enjoyed a beautiful day of golfing and helped sustain one of our community’s most-valuable assets: Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital.”
