Hope College
HOLLAND-The 2009 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) includes 191 student-athletes from Hope College.
The academic awards program is administered by the faculty representatives of the MIAA member colleges.
The 20th annual Academic Honor Roll consists of student-athletes who maintained a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the year.
Matthew Richardson of Niles/Niles High School (baseball) was named to the list as a senior; and Matthew Gregory of St. Joseph/St. Joseph High School (swimming) was named to the list as a freshman.

Northwood University
MIDLAND – Northwood University’s Dean’s list includes the following students:
Niles
Michael P. Anglin, sophomore
Andrew M. Seigel, junior,    Edwardsburg
Christopher W. Alwine, senior,    Jones

Central Michigan University
MOUNT PLEASANT – Central Michigan University’s spring semester honors list includes freshmen from the Niles area who earned a 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) and higher grade point averages.
The spring semester ended in May.
That list included: Samantha Brawley, of Niles; Grant Cramer, of Niles; Jeffrey Jurgonski, of Niles; Justin Zimmerman, of Niles; and Steven Petro, of Three Oaks.

Calvin College
GRAND RAPIDS – Kayley Merencsics, a senior who is pursuing a nursing degree, and graduated from Edwardsburg High School was named to Calvin College’s Spring 2009 Dean’s List.
